Our Trillium
For Sale: Seattle Washington
Time to go camping... Hi we are selling our much loved 1977 Trillium 4500 Deluxe. Now it's your turn...
We originally bought our Trillium 4500 because we were tired of unpacking and packing the tent, cooler, stove, sleeping bags and pillows... you get the idea . We bought this camper to haul behind our Subaru Forrester. The Gross hauling weight of this camper is 200o lbs. which makes it great for hauling behind your SUV or car. Make sure your car can tow at least 2500 lbs. you must include your passengers in the total tow weight.
The fiberglass camper community calls them glass eggs. The way the Trillium was built is basically two giant fiberglass bathtubs that have been put together with a what's called a belly band in the middle. This means there is no rot in the flooring. Much less long term maintenance.
The other big reason to love the fiberglass campers? Weight. At 2000 lbs Hauling a camper behind your car or SUV is safe and possible with these small light weight campers.
